Transitions...

Jet Fighter

China Gate

Chloe's Window

Fierce Woman

I'm transitioning away from martial arts, nutrition, and taoist philosophy, since none of it is realistic anyway, and moving towards art, design, cartooning, and aesthetics.  I have two educations, the first in Traditional Chinese Medicine, the other in graphic design.

While I am a healer and a martial artist, I'd rather explore the world through the eyes of an artist.  This simple kind of art, combined with today's technology, lends itself to the blending of all art forms.

I like drawing, design, writing, music, philosophy, and poetry, and in today's world, I can make something of myself.  There's an audience out there for what I teach.

So here are my four latest works, ranging from years ago to months ago, but only recently colored in Photoshop.

Jet Fighter is a cartoonish interpretation of a Roy Lichtenstein work.  China Gate incorporates symbolism from Ancient China and Taoism.  Chloe's Window is based on a photo a friend sent me on Facebook.  And Fierce Woman is something I drew when I was in Israel in September 2015, but only colored a few days ago.

My life is improving as I discover new things, things that were meant for me, or at least as I get older.

I am discovering art, stoic philosophy, Paleo diet, tai chi, qi gong, yoga, and all the while, I can hear the thumpin of John Lee Hooker's guitar...
